Materials you will need to make surprise spinner card:
- Card stock paper
- Scoring tool
- Scissor
- Ruler
- Glue or double-sided tape
- Rubber band or nylon string
- Printer (Download the free template here)
In order to create the hidden word on the spinner, you have to chop up each letter vertically on graphic editing software like Adobe Illustrator.
After that, you need to make sure that the chopped-up words or letters are aligned perfectly so when it spins the letters will show up nicely. I included the sample words on the printable template below.

Can you change the size of the file for a smaller project?
Hi Amber, one way to resize the template is, once you’re inside the Silhouette Studio app, open the file then you need to select the entire object and scale it to size, it’s important to select all the object at once so all the parts are proportion.
